This successful mutual building society is seeking a Compliance expert to develop and maintain a risk-based methodology to help determine compliance-monitoring priorities. Your remit will include documenting the formal Annual Compliance Plan for approval by the Audit Committee and also planning and performing Compliance Monitoring Reviews to ensure the Society is complying with FSA rules, regulation and Codes of Practice. As Compliance is a key area within the business you should hold a professional qualification such as FPC, ACCA or PIIA and be a good communicator. An insurance background either within audit or compliance would be advantageous. Must be willing to travel to branches.
